Four children were buried in a landslide in Guatemala city in guatemala over the week- end after tropical Agatha struck the Latin American country.
The storm struck on Saturday when heavy rains triggered mudslides that destroyed more than 3,500 homes, and forcing the evacuation of 61,000 people.
83 people have also been killed in the week-end disaster that also affected El-Salvador.
Guatemala is already under a 15-day state of calamity after Thursday's eruption of a volcano that killed 3 people.
Tropical storm Agatha is the first named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season that begins on the 1st of June. Comments (0) |
