Ikolomani member of parliament Bonny Khalwale has come out strongly and is  accusing the committee of experts of carrying out what he termed, as premature campaigns. Khalwale says that what the public perceives as rallies is actually a form of educating the public on civic education.

He said that the public should be informed that actual campaigns are yet to take place.

At the same time, Khalwale congratulated the president for suspending Kuria MP Wilfred Machage and urged the president to take stern action and dismiss any member of the cabinet responsible for incitement and hate speech.
