![]() Kofa Mrenje is a senior reporter with K24 as well as one of the main anchors for the Swahili News, Mchipuko Wa Habari. Since joining K24 in September 2007, he has covered numerous political stories, including the 2007 general elections followed by the violence that ensued. He was able to travel extensively throughout the country covering everything from internally displaced people to the re -settlement of the IDPs. Kofa has also frequently reported from Parliament buildings as well as covering events at State House and he 's one of K24 lead reporters on Breaking News stories. Prior to joining K24, Kofa worked as a reporter and Swahili News Anchor at Biblia Husema Broadcasting, a Christian radio station before moving to TBN Family radio in the same capacity. Kofa was born in Hola, Tana River district along the Kenyan coast and holds a Diploma in Journalism and Media studies from the East African School of Media Studies. Comments (4) |
