Agnes Gakunga is one of the main anchors on K24's Swahili bulletins, Mchipuko Wa Habari. She also doubles-up as a reporter on K24's daily news bulletins, Eyewitness News. 

Since joining K24 in September, 2007, Agnes has reported on various  national issues including the post election violence, the chronic  water shortage in Nairobi and a whole variety of human interest stories. 

Prior to joining k24 Gakunga worked at Kencall Centre, an international call centre. Gakunga has also worked as a reporter with the Kenya Times. 

Gakunga was born in Nakuru and holds a Diploma in Journalism from Universal College of Professionals, Nairobi and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Nairobi.
