Hermina Patel is one of the main Anchors on K24 and also doubles-up as a reporter on the daily EYEWITNESS NEWS broadcast. Her duties as anchor also means that she conducts in-studio interviews with a wide variety of guests on wide ranging issues like politics, entertainment, sports and leisure.

Hermina's career in media began back when she was just fourteen years old when she was asked to present a radio programme on EAST-FM, one of Nairobi's popular radio stations.

As a reporter at K24, Hermina has carved a niche for herself by demystifying the Asian community doing feature stories on everything from Indian weddings to Indian temples to Indian eating habits and cuisine.

She also reports on human interest stories that involve health care, environment and lifestyle.

Hermina is a graduate of Middlesex University in London with a degree in Television Production. It was in London that she also did stints at REUTERS Television as well as CNN.
